Knit Goodness

One of the shows from Milan Fashion Week that I totally look forward to each season is Missoni. I love how the Missoni family spirit and warmth is still there, which has been a strong presence in their ad's lately.
Just like this one...
Now you can tell this family is crazy about knits, which I love!

Being an accessories design student and always having to work with leather for most of my projects sometimes get me tired of it and all I want is to slip into something soft and comfy. I'm a crazy crocheter but I guess I don't have the time due to my leather related projects. Don't get me wrong I totally adore leather; its a huge part of what I do and what eventually be doing hopefully.

Anyways here are some of my favorite looks from the Missoni FW 10 collection:

BAFWeek

It's fashion week season all over! From NYFW a few weeks ago to LFW last week to the start of Milan Fashion Week this past Thursday and Paris the next, but there are other fashion weeks that are also gaining interest in people like BAFWeek or Buenos Aires Fashion Week.

For me Buenos Aires has always been one of the most important fashion city's of South America and this past week while all eyes were aiming for LFW, BAFW was taking place.

One of my new favorite Argentine designer houses is Rapsodia, which reflects a very distinctive bohemian and young sprint style with a bit of Free People in it.

Here are some of my favorite looks...

Check them out!

Long Live the Queen!

Today was a bittersweet day in the fashion world. It was the beginning of NY Fashion Week and the end of an amazing designer, Alexander McQueen. My friend Jorge and I decided to go down to the w.14th st. McQueen store this afternoon to pay respects to this memorable iconic fashion designer that has been great inspiration in my life these past few years.
RIP Lee McQueen
